A 3 star hotel, located in the 16th district of Paris, a select and cheerful area close to the River Seine. Built in 1850, this is a traditional Parisian "Haussman" style building. The lobby is open plan with the lounge and seating area. M. Murat was a famous soldier serving the Emperor Napoleon, and the decor of the public areas is in keeping with this theme. The impressive wood paneled walls, carved furniture and huge frescos portraying epic battles, capture the mood of the whole period. Rooms are small; good condition, tastefully decorated, furnished and equipped to a good standard. Triple rooms are not available. No restaurant in the hotel only a breakfast room.
